Jason Jourdan is a seasoned creative
professional and storyteller who is an award-winning designer, copywriter,
and brand strategist. Jason worked for several national and local firms successfully branding The Capital University MBA program and serving as a team leader in the development of Chase Bank’s co-marketing promotions program with partners like Target, Sony, Disney, and Best Buy.

In 2005, Jason founded creative services company, Novella Creative. Since then, he has developed brand and promotional strategies for a number of clients including the re-branding of Durango Boots for footwear giant, Rocky Brands. He also conceived and implemented the Georgia Boot Racing NASCAR program for Rocky Brands in partnership with Sprint Cup Champion, Kevin Harvick.

Jason most recently completed the branding for Union County, Ohio.





Jason is also an accomplished children's illustrator (site) who is known for his contributions to publications, games, and character licensing. He has illustrated books in the popular PBS Kids series and has worked with a number of studios to produce art for Nickelodeon book titles, including “Backyardigans” and “Lazy Town.” 

He is a licensing artist on the popular “Moshi Monsters” property for Penguin Books and a frequent guest speaker at elementary schools.  

Jason attended the Columbus College of Art and Design where he has since returned as adjunct faculty teaching typography and graphic design. 

He lives in Lewis Center with his wife and their four kids and is currently writing and illustrating his first original book for children.
